Lolita Garcia, Chairperson
Lolita has extensive experience disaster management for projects in Southeast Asia and South Asia. She worked as Regional Technical Manager at the Asian Preparedness Center in Thailand. Lolita also served as environmental specialist in 50 projects in Southeast Asia. Lolita graduated from the Imperial College in London with a diploma in Geophysics and the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Chemistry.
Paul T. Puthenpurekal, Chief Operating Officer and President
Paul has over ten years working on environmental management projects in India and the Philippines. He specializes in earth sciences, environmental engineering and renewable energy. He worked as Senior Project Manager at the URS Corporation, a leading international engineering and construction firm. Paul earned his MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and has a post-graduate diploma in Engineering Geology from Germany.
Edgardo G. Bernal, Vice President for Operations
Ed worked for 25 years with Meralco, the largest electricity distributor in the Philippines, where he worked as Senior Manager for Systems Analysis and North Distribution Design. He was in charge of the design of electric distribution projects. He has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology
Clarence Darrow De Guia, Vice President for Legal Affairs
Clarence has over 10 years of working with the government particularly as Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and as head of the litigation department of the Government Service Insurance System. He earned his law degree from the University of the Philippines
of electric distribution projects. He has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology
Jaime Javier Gana, Vice President for Finance
JJ serves as member of the board of several companies including the Ganare Realty Corporation, ARGO Corporation, Monti Corporation, Philippine Tannery, Inc. He was a consultant with the Philippine Social Security System and worked in the corporate lending division of Union Bank of the Philippines. JJ has an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management and a degree in Business Administration and Economics from De La Salle University.
Celestino Ulep, Board Member
Celes has 30 years of experience in architecture, urban planning, natural resource management and eco-tourism. He served as assistant director of the Parks and Wildlife Bureau and national consultant for the NZAID Ecotourism project. He holds a doctorate degree in Environmental Science from Miriam College and a diploma in Urban Survey and Human Settlements Analysis from the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) in Netherlands.
